About Birdie for a Cause
Our Story
Birdie for a Cause was founded in 2023 by several members of the Lynchburg Garage Door team. This team wanted to put on a small event to raise money for a good friend who was battling breast cancer. After a few weeks this event turned into something much larger than expected. The amount of support from family, friends, community, and businesses was overwhelming. After our first tournament and feedback from the community, Birdie For A Cause became an annual event.
Our Mission
At Birdie for a Cause our mission is to help ease the financial burden for those who are battling this horrible disease. We want our beneficiaries to direct their full attention to fight this disease, while knowing they have support from their community.
Our Team
Our team is dedicated to using all resources to make this event successful year after year. This event would not be successful without the army of volunteers it takes each year.
